XM Studios is excited to present the next statue from our Transformers: Mythical Beasts Series, Optimus Prime - Azure Dragon! Inspired by the G1 design and reimagined with cinematic-level mechanical detailing, this unique concept merges the Autobot leader with the mysticism and grandeur of Chinese cultural elements. In a new age where myth meets machine, the legends of the Mythical Beasts are reborn through Cybertron’s greatest warriors.

The story begins with an ancient oriental meteorite crashing onto Cybertron. With the strike of the meteor, the sky split open and a torrent of shattered light engulfed the planet.

Elsewhere, the Decepticons achieve a major victory, taking control of Cybertron. At the brink of despair, the broken core unleashed an unseen force and the Matrix of Leadership within Optimus Prime’s chest began to tremble and glow. 

When the meteorite entwined with the Matrix of Leadership, the guardian will of the Azure Dragon awakened. Amidst the towering mountains, swirling seas of clouds parted and the mighty dragon soared heavenward. The dragon’s spiritual energy surged into Optimus Prime. In Cybertron’s darkest hour, the Autobot leader rose, heralding a new symbol born from the union of Cybertronians and Eastern myth.

The design emphasizes the integration of Eastern aesthetics, embodied by the Azure Dragon’s power. Optimus Prime ascends beyond mere form and warrior, clad in the legacy of the Tang dynasty. His helmet and chest gleam with finely etched dragon motifs, while his antennae rise into phoenix-winged crests, echoing the elegance of Tang-era warrior helms. The armor on his shoulders, torso, and legs is sculpted in the layered mountain-pattern design, with dragon-head shoulder guards and dragon-shaped greaves enhancing his commanding presence.

Optimus Prime’s weapons are also transformed. His iconic Energon-axe becomes a mechanical jieyue (节钺), a halberd-axe symbolizing power and military achievement. His Sword of Judgment are reimagined into Tang-style ceremonial swords. Additional jet thrusters decorated with ornate Tang scrollwork complete the design, bringing ancient artistry together with futuristic machinery.

The base design depicts the meteor’s impact, radiating with the primordial might of the Azure Dragon. In the cataclysm, the Dragon God's will manifested, a seething vortex that swept up shattered machinery and celestial debris. 

The shadows of the Mythical Beasts rose in unison, illuminating Cybertron.

Surrounded by the Azure Dragon，armed with the jieyue (节钺) and Tang swords, Optimus Prime embodies both the fearless courage of a warrior and the noble dignity of a leader!

From that day forth, Optimus Prime and the Autobots were no longer mere warriors, they were reborn as Guardians of the ancient cosmic will. Together, they are the Transformers: Mythical Beasts Series — a saga where ancient power converges with Cybertronian might, forging legends that transcend time.

The statue will be available in three editions: Colour Version - The legend reborn, Gold Version - Bathed in divine radiance, and Shadow Version - Strength in the shadows.

Statue Features:

• Dragon motifs and Tang dynasty-inspired armor integrated into the design

• Two (2) interchangeable right and left arm switch-outs

• Two (2) removable weapons: One mechanical jieyue (节钺) halberd-axe and Two Tang swords
